Why EcoBalanza for your next project?

Safest for your clients

EcoBalanza specializes in making the greenest, cleanest piece of furniture in the world; using only recyclable resources and certified non-toxic materials. That means we construct our pieces without using toxic polyfoams, or formaldehyde-filled composite woods. We wrap each piece in wool inside and out, making it naturally resistant to dust mites and naturally flame resistant. We can even build pieces to meet special needs including latexallergies, concerns about electromagnetic fields, and a preference for vegan materials.

Customizable in every way

Every piece is made-to-order in our studio, and we have our own master designer on hand to bring your vision to life, no matter the scope. We specialize in recreating pieces from photos and conversations if there’s a piece you haven’t been able to find, or want constructed with our premier heirloom quality and attention to detail.

You can also start with any of our standard styles and then customize it to meet your client’s unique needs - length, depth, width, height, seat type, filling type, leg and stitch.

Built for comfort and durable quality

Old-world techniques, like the ones used in our studio, ensure that the pieces we make maintain structure and comfort for decades and can be passed down over generations. Using FSC-certifiedhardwoods and screws rather than plywood and staples, is the very first step to building a piece which maintains its structural stability over time. We generously use soft materials like wool and latex to add padding to every corner and edge, protecting the frame from the wear and tear of life. All of our tight cushioned sofas are made with 8-way hand-tied coils, the way antique furniture was built to last centuries.
